Obituary Irving G. Mosher
Irving G Mosher,97, died on June 10, 2026 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center in Guilderland, NY.  Born on April 30, 1929, he was the son of the late Zella Giles Mosher and Niles Mosher of Unionville, NY. Irving was a lifetime member of the Unionville Dutch Reformed Church. He spent his career at Bell Telephone which is now Verizon. He joined the Onesquethaw Fire Department in 1952 and served for many years; part of which as battalion chief. His second wife and soulmate, Mary Ruth and Irving enjoyed many years travelling the states in their RV. Irving was survived by four children with his first wife, Shirley Mosher: Mark Mosher, David Mosher and wife Patty Wong, Joyce Mosher and husband Peter Cochetti and Susan Mosher and husband Dennis Feil. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren: daughters of David Mosher and Susan Blumen: Erika Lee McMonagle (Billy), and Julia Rose Mosher (John Russo) Also 3 grandsons; Sam Cochetti, Alex Cochetti and Jonathon Feil. In addition, He is survived by 3 stepchildren: Rick Jeffries, wife Terry and children Andrew and Danielle; Chuck Jefferies, wife Terry and daughter Kristen and Cindy Tries, husband Jeff and children Fallon and Dexter. Two great grandchildren also survive: Noah McMonagle and Luna Clair Cochetti. He was predeceased by his second wife Mary Ruth Jefferies Mosher and his sister Dona Mosher.
A memorial service will be held at the Unionville Dutch Reformed Church on August 9, 2026, service starts at 10:30am, following the service we will have a reception, and after the reception we will go to the cemetery for a brief committal service.

The Unionville Reformed Church is a small, suburban congregation located at 1134 Delaware Turnpike in Delmar, New York, just outside of Albany. We are a part of the Reformed Church in America (RCA).

  • Sunday Worship Services – Sundays at 10:30AM
  • Bible Study - Tuesdays at 12:30PM in the Fellowship Hall located behind the Sanctuary.
